"I also love Spain, but we can't live on water and love" , my husband said - again - as I begged him for the trillionth time "When are we moving"

​I had fallen head over heals for Spain after visiting his family's summer house in a tiny village in the mountains. The very moment arrived, I knew.After years of travelling the world, moving from country to country since i was 16, I had never felt this way before. This was home. 

​

So, we took a leap. We sold everything in Sweden, packed up our lives, and moved - with two small children - to Xert, a village so untouched that no one spoke English, and everything felt like stepping back in time. It was terrifying. It was was exciting. And it was the best decision we ever made. 

​

​​We wanted to create something truly special: an experience where guests don't have to think about a thing, where every detail is taken care of so they can simply enjoy , explore and be present. Our heart has always been in hosting small groups in our villas because it brings people together in a way no Hotel ever could - with laughter around the dinner table, sunset swims and deep conversations under the stars.

Now six years later, our dream has grown beyond what we could ever have imagined. We've build a community  - of horse riders, padel players, runners and business owners - many of whom have become lifelong friends. Every who stays with us meets local guides, eats at family-run restaurants, and supports small businesses - because that's what makes an experience truly authentic.

Some dreams do come true, - mine did.
